Skye McAlpine was born in London, grew up in Venice and now divides her time between the two cities with her husband, Anthony, and five year old son, Aeneas. She is a food writer, amateur photographer with a PhD in Latin Literature (her particular interest is Latin love poetry) and a magpie-like love of beautiful things. She contributes to a number of publications, including Vanity Fair, The Sunday Times, Condé Nast Traveler and the Telegraph, and, when time allows, writes the Italian food and lifestyle blog ‘From My Dining Table’. Her debut cookbook, ‘A Table In Venice’ is published by Bloomsbury (UK) and Clarkson Potter (US) in March 2018.
