Benjamina Ebuehi – Benji for short- is a twenty-something-year old Londoner who loves making pretty cakes and other yummy bakes. She finished as a quarter finalist in the final series of BBC One’s The Great British Bake Off with more than 13 million people tuning in each week, making it the most popular series in Bake Off’s seven-year history and drawing the largest UK audience since the 2012 Olympics.
Benjamina recently graduated university with a 1st in Economics, and not works as a teaching assistant in London. Since starting baking aged 14, Benjamina has combined classic simple flavours with a fresh, modern style. She has run the hugely popular Carrot & Crumb blog since 2015 and her gorgeous bakes are followed by more than 62k people on her @bakedbybenji Instagram.
She recently appeared on BBC One’s Songs of Praise cooking up some mouthwatering Christmas treats with Revd. Kate Bottley in December 2016.
