IN BETWEEN DREAMS
Set in Canada, spanning the colourful 1960s to the drab 1990s, this powerful story follows James who is desperate to be a dedicated, loving family-man but who lives his life handicapped by a terrible sexual addiction. Intertwined with his narrative is that of his teenage daughter – thieving, manipulative and deliciously unhinged, Frances is a young girl struggling to come-of-age under the smoky weight of her own secret inextricably linked to that of her father’s. It’s a story about the fluid, easily-traversed boundary between normality and perversity.
