Oxford-educated Louise Mensch was the youngest ever contributor to the Tablet at the age of fourteen. Young Poet of the Year in 1989 and former President of the Oxford University Rock Society, she worked in the record business before leaving aged 23 to write full-time.
Louise is a columnist for The Sun on Sunday and regularly writes pieces on politics, lifestyle and current affairs. She also writes about happiness on her website joyhacks.com.
Louise is the author of fifteen novels under the name Louise Bagshawe and has been a top ten bestseller. She has also been published in more than eight languages. Her new novel, BEAUTY, is written as Louise Mensch, the name for which she became known in the UK as an MP for the Conservative Party. She now lives with her husband, Peter Mensch, in New York and is the mother of three children.
